How Forge practice works
Most practice tools ask you to answer isolated questions – write one query, get graded, move to the next. Forge works differently. You're given a real dataset and a task that mirrors what a data analyst, data scientist or AI practitioner would actually be asked to do: explore the data, work out an approach, and write the solution needed to answer it. As you work, you get AI feedback on what you've done – not a finished answer handed over, but an explanation of what's working, what isn't, and why, so the practice builds judgement rather than just recall.
Who it's for
Forge is built for people who've already got the fundamentals down – through the quiz library or elsewhere – and want practice that feels closer to a real data science, data analytics or AI role than a multiple-choice test. If you can already write a working query or script but want to get faster at figuring out which one a real, messy problem actually calls for, this is the part of Upskly built for exactly that.
Getting started
Forge is available once you sign in on Upskly, with trial credits so you can try it before deciding whether to continue. There's no separate app or download – it opens directly from your account alongside the rest of your practice.
